State Administrative Committee (SAC)

The Mississippi State Administrative Committee, known as the MS SAC, is the governing body for gymnastics in the State of Mississippi. The committee is comprised of 11 members of which 7 members are voting, 3 members are non-voting, and the committee chairperson votes only in the case of a tye. The committee members are:

Nancy is the owner of Starkville Gymnastics, Inc. Prior to her becoming State Administrative Committee Chairperson, Nancy served on the State Administrative Committee for eight years. After receiving her BS and M.ED degrees in health, physical education, and recreation from Mississippi State University, Nancy taught in Birmingham, Alabama and at Wood Jr. College in Mathiston, MS before opening Starkville Gymnastics, Inc. in 1989. Since 1993, Nancy has been a member of NAWGJ and is presently a Level 10 judge. She is married to Thomas G. Hawkins and has one son, Sandy Lay.
