Qualifying Procedures

Level Requirements Descriptions
Levels
1, 2		 USAG registered To move through the levels, a gymnast must have completed:
  1. 75% proficiency at each level
  2. five out of six conditioning exercises at Levels 1-4
  3. 100% proficiency on the Flexibility exercises at Levels 1-4
 One seasons — Spring
Must have attended one qualifying meet within the State.
State Championship —Levels 1—2 (2 judges/event)
Level 3 USAG registered To move through the levels, a gymnast must have completed:
  1. 75% proficiency at each level
  2. five out of six conditioning exercises at Levels 1-4
  3. 100% proficiency on the Flexibility exercises at Levels 1-4
 Two seasons — Fall & Spring
Must have attended one qualifying meet within the State.
Tis — 2 judges per event.
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Level 4 USAG registered To move to Level 5, a gymnast must have completed:
  1. 75% proficiency at Levels 1—4
  2. five out of six conditioning exercises at Levels 1—4
  3. 100% proficiency on the Flexibility exercises at Levels 1—4
 Two seasons — Fall & Spring
May qualify at any MS USAG qualifying meet.
Tis — 2 judges per event.
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Levels
5 & 6		 USAG registered 31.00 AA - Mobility Two seasons — Fall & Spring
May qualify at any MS USAG qualifying meet.
Tis — 2 judges per event.
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Prep Op USAG registered See Prep Op Guidelines (MS foloows the Regional Guidelines) One season — Spring State Championship
May qualify at any MS USAG qualifying meet in the fall or spring to attend State Championship.
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Level 7 USAG registered 31.00 AA - Mobility One season — Spring State Championship
May qualify at any MS USAG qualifying meet in the fall or spring to attend State Championship.
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Level 8,9 USAG registered 34.00 AA - Mobility One season — Spring State Championship
May qualify at any USAG sanctioned meet in the fall or spring to attend State Championship.
Gymnast must attend a minimum of one in-state qualifying meet to recieve regional apparel from MS USAG
State Championship — 4 judges per event.
Level 10 See Rules and Policies
NO EXPERT DIVISIONS EITHER SEASON.
Levels 3—6 must qualify each season to attend Tis the Split Season and Spring State Championships.
